Well, well, the Cat is finally out of the bag! Former Kakamega Senator is no longer a member of Ford Kenya after he finally decided to make his relationship with DP William Ruto official.

This might not have come as a surprise to many of us and with Ford Kenya having already summoned him for disciplinary proceedings, it was just right for Khalwale to defect to Jubilee and avoid the embarrasment that would come with being kicked off of Wetangula’s Party.

But is Khalwale playing his political cards right? Is he digging his own political grave?

Knowing Kahalwale very well, he is not a man to make decisions that would later come back to haunt him and with this in mind, he must have seen some ripe fruit he wants to feast on somewhere.

Reports now indicate that he joined Jubilee Party to replace David Murathe as the deputy party chairman.

Khalwale announced his departure from Ford Kenya when he symbolically hosted Deputy President William Ruto at his rural home in Malinya, Kakamega County.

News of Khawale abandoning Ford-Kenya for Jubilee comes few days after faces behind Ruto’s new political Party which is in the offing were uncovered.

The plot is to rope in Khawale and other like-minded politicians into Jubilee before a surprise major walkout into Ruto’s new political vehicle.
