Kenya’s finest Rapper King Kaka is never giving up on his noble act of keeping girls in school through his initiative of Bank on Me.
He is now auctioning is Ankara coat in a campaign to help raise money to buy sanitary towels for young girls who are experiencing their monthly periods and cannot afford the pads.
The Bank on Me drive aims at collecting money to buy the pads and be distributed to needy students in various school.
This has been echoed by many celebrities who have given support through their platforms.
Capital FM presenter, Anita Nderu this week pt on the market her fifty pairs of shoes for the purpose of raising sanitary towels. Through her Instagram account, she said that she will exchange a pair of shoe with three pieces of pads.
With these campaigns, girl child’s stay in school will be secured.
The highest bidder for King Kaka’s coat was 2500 as by noon of Saturday. He will announce the winner at the end of the day.
