Uasin Gishu tycoon and former gubernatorial contestant Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki is very bitter with his former party Jubilee.
Buzeki who crossed over to ex-Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto’s Chama Cha Mashinani party claims the their more than enough rot in Jubilee party. The politician who was largely perceived to be Deputy President William Ruto’s man during his quest for the Uasin Gishu county chief’s seat in 2017.
In his tweet, on Friday, May 17, Buzeki who lost in the Jubilee primaries to incumbent Jackson Mandago, said the ruling party had lied to Kenyans thus had no face. He explicitly stated Jubilee was a failed party which he did not wish to be associated with in his future political aspirations.
“Unaniuliza kwanini nimehama Jubilee? Wamechoma picha (I have quit Jubilee because they have ruined their reputation),” read Buzeki’s tweet.
Unaniuliza KWANINI nimehama jubilee !!! WAMECHOMA PICHA !! Manifesto ilikua FAKE. Uongo IKO Na MWISHO.Unless Unangoja UWONGO MPYA. Karibu MASHINANI. 👉Tai .

According to the billionaire who was appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta to chair the Board of Management of Chemelil Sugar Company, Jubilee had failed to implement its manifesto. He added that the ruling party was fond of taking Kenyans for a ride but its lies had come to an end.
“Jubilee’s manifesto was fake. Their lies have come to an end. One can only stay in that party if they want to be fooled with new lies. Welcome to Mashinani,” he said.
Buzeki’s move comes at a time when major political realignments are taking place with the likes of former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale ditching FORD Kenya to formally work with Jubilee and Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok of ODM hinting he would back Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.
