Fake gold scam is the latest scandal that has got some of Kenya’s top mafias in trouble. The scandal has also linked some of top politicians, making it the talk of the day.
The scandal linked Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula, who has hence denied the allegations.
On Monday, Fifteen suspects were arrested in connection with the fake gold syndicate operating in the country.\
They will remain in police custody for seven more days pending conclusion of investigations.
The accused were arraigned in court on Tuesday where the prosecution sought for more time to conclude investigations.
Suspected fake gold conman, Jared Kiasa Otieno, is the latest in the list of those arrested in the shady gold export business deals.
