Murkomen,Duale war sparks a fallout between Senate and National assembly

The Supremacy battle between the Senate and the National Assembly is taking a new twist. The Genesis of sudden fallout being the bitter exchange between the Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and the National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.

The two have been exchanging words over the Health Bill which was recently accented to by the President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen the President overshadowed the role of the senate before accenting to the Health Amendment Bill of 2019.

This claims by Hon Kipchumba Murkomen were rubbished by Hon Aden Duale who claimed that the bill followed the due process before being presented to the President to be signed into Bill.

The exchange got dirtier with Aden Duale calling Kipchumba Murkomen a cry baby and a hypocrite.

But the Senate has picked up the fight even higher.

Senate is now tasking its legal committee with critically reviewing bills passed without their input since 2013 when the Senate came into effect.

This will expose the number of times the Senate responsibility has been out muscled by the state.
