Moses Wetang’ula-led Ford-Kenya’s deputy party leader Bonny Khalwale has defected to President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee Party.
The former Kakamega senator has reportedly made the announcement at his Malinya home in Kakamega where he is hosting Deputy President Dr William Ruto.

His announcement comes barely a day after Ford Kenya party had written to him through party chairman Timothy Wanyonyi over his discipline in the party.
The party had vowed to deal with any rogue member regardless of his position, whether the party leader, deputy party leader or any other official of the party.
It had maintained that it has a constitution which must be followed by all members.

Khalwale has been supporting DP Ruto despite his party having a presidential candidate for 2022, Moses Wetang’ula.
