It’s unending rain of blessings for Poor man who constructed road alone

ABC Bank is the latest firm to shower Nicholas Muchemi, the 45-year-old man from Murang’a who single-handedly built a road connecting locals to their shopping centre, with 6-months’ feeds for his cows and more goodies for his selfless act.

The bank administrators that met Muchemi further enlisted him in a SACCO where he will be saving some money out of his milk earnings.

Muchemi using a fork jembe, a spade, an axe and a jerrican of water to quench his thirst, built a one-kilometre road connecting the locals to Kaganda shopping centre after the one they were using was blocked by the landowner.

He will also benefit with several roof sheets for his cowshed from Rhino Mabati Factory while Water and Sanitation PS Joseph Irungu ensured water was piped to his home. His home will soon be connected to electricity.

Surely, no good effort will ever go unrewarded.
