Chelsea flop Alvaro Morata makes his final decision on his next move, but one thing is sure

Former Real Madrid and Chelsea flop Alvaro Morata has come out to say he has no intention of returning to the English Premier League following his loan spell at Atletico Madrid after a dismal performance at Chelsea.

The Spaniard ended a miserable 18 months inĀ London by joining his former Spanish rivals Atletico in January on a temporary season-and-a-half deal.

He struggled with form and injuries at Stamford Bridge and insists it is ‘clear what I want’ having returned to the Spanish capital.

‘I want to be here, I’m going to do everything I can to continue playing here’, he told reporters.Ā ‘I did everything in my power to come, and I’ll do everything in my power to stay.

‘I do not even consider going to another club. I’m delighted and I think I have to do a lot of things here. ‘I do not have anything else in mind, I would like to be at Atletico Madrid all the years that I have left of my career, to be as important as possible in the future.’

The 26-year-old scored 24 times in 72 appearances for Chelsea but has rediscovered his eye for a goal back in Spain.

Morata has found the back of the net six times in 15 La Liga appearances for Atletico and the prospects of French striker, Antoine Griezman leaving the club at the end of the season would be an added advantage for him to show himself to the club.

Former team-mate Eden Hazard looks set to join him in Madrid, but across town at Real Marid instead although there is a lot that needs to be done considering that Chelsea has a ban that bars them from conducting transfers and letting the Belgium go would come out haunting if they do not get another striker of his calibre.

Morata believes he will prove himself a star at the Bernabeu.

‘HeĀ is one of the best players in the world and can fit well in any team, the team he wants. [He] is a top player and a top person’, he said.
