The Deputy President William Ruto has decided to put aside his tangatanga mission to seek to increase the trade opportunity for the country.
DP Ruto held talks with Carl Decaluwe, the Governor of West Flanders, Karen office, Nairobi County.
The meeting was fruitful for the country.
During the meeting, DP Ruto rooted for increased trade opportunities with Belgium and even capitalized on emerging export markets to sell its fresh produce, including cut flowers, fruits and vegetables.
The Deputy President argued that enhanced volume of trade will boost farmers’ earnings; create jobs; wealth and deepen our collaboration with Brussels.

This will be handsome deal especially to farmers who have been struggling to get their produce in the market for quite some time.
