Impressive swift response by police in two gruesome female murder cases

Good progress has been recorded in police work as its been reported that officers have arrested suspects linked to the assault and murder of a disabled 37 year old woman whose lifeless body was found in her house in Kalama area.

According to a police report, the deceased’ body was found half naked on her bed, with her walking crutches inserted into her private parts.

It was alleged that her assailants raped her before killing her.Police later established that the deceased lived alone in the same compound with her close relatives.

 Esther Wavinya Mwanthi’s half-naked body was found by her relatives who live in the same compound. They then alerted the chief.

The body was moved to the Machakos Level Five Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination as police investigate the bizarre murder.

Alarming enough, the story closely followed that of a 24-year-old prison warder was on Wednesday morning found inside her house in Kiharu estate, Murang’a County.

Until her death, Pauline Wangari Ngoi, whose body had multiple stab wounds, The body had visible stab wounds on the chest, stomach and head and was beginning to decompose leading the investigators to believe that she may have been killed on Monday night.

Her body was found without clothes and her bedding soaked in blood.

A roll of bhang was also placed between her lips, with a kitchen knife in her right hand.

The police as well have arrested a man in connection with Wangari’s murder.

One Peterson Njiru was arraigned in court on Thursday where the judge ruled to have him detained for 14 days to allow for investigations to be completed.
