Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has called the Nairobi County workers as corrupt while attending the first Graduation Ceremony in Dandora Technical Institute.
Mike Mbuvi Sonko has said the county workers cannot be trusted. He therefore asked the National Government through the treasury to directly pay the supplier and the people who are demanding payment from the county directly.
Mike Mbuvi Sonko has stated that this help reduce instances of corruption in the county.
But on the positive side, Governor Sonko has praised the county assembly of Nairobi for approving the supplementary budget of the county.
Mike sonko has stated that the funds will help in improving the various parts of Nairobi including construction of roads.
Governor Mike Sonko has announced the increase in the funds to the wards from 2 Billion to 5 Billion.
