The Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok has officially joined Deputy President’s Tanga Tanga movement. Governor Nanok made is the declaration to support DP Ruto as the next President of Kenya come to 2022 General Election.
While speaking to Turkana residents, the governor who also serves as ODM Vice Chairman said that he was ready to support DP Ruto form the next government of Kenya as soon as President Kenyatta’s term comes to an end.
“We are working on a plan to fully support the Deputy President and form the next government, As Turkana people, we want to be part of that government. I will not accept to be outside government again.” Said governor Nanok
Governor Nanok was accompanying the DP as he launched various projects in Turkana County.
He further spoke of the much-debated church politics where he supported the DP’s contribution to the church. This has seen several political figures oppose the DP for his huge contribution of money to the church further been accused of having earned the money through corruption.
Nanok now joins other members in the central Kenya region who have been campaigning for the DP’s 2022 bid.
