Nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi has been struck off from ANC party register, paving way for his removal from parliament.
The nominated MP was recently expelled from the party due to gross misconduct and disrespect to the party chairman and 2022 presidential candidate.

Nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi on Sunday said he regretted that Amani National Congress (ANC) party had turned down his request for dialogue.

Mr Osotsi said the party said that the window for dialogue had been closed.
The legislator told journalists in Vihiga that ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, through his lawyer, had written to him informing him that the party would not hold any more dialogue with him.
A month ago, High Court overturned a decision of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal, where he successfully challenged his removal from Amani National Congress (ANC).
Justice Cecilia Githua overturned the tribunal’s decision saying it lacked jurisdiction to hear the dispute because the MP had not exhausted ANC’s internal mechanisms.
ANC is said to be in the process of expelling the nominated MP from party affairs.
Lugari MP Ayub Savula had accused the MP of nominating his mother in law as an MCA in Kakamega against the party constitution.
