The most anticipated Kenya Premier League fixture is scheduled for this Sunday with AFC Leopards hosting Gor Mahia in this season’s final Mashemeji derby at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi. The match was initially drafted for a 3 pm kickoff but the Kenya Premier League confirmed via a tweet that the time has changed to 4.15pm with the venue the same.

The clash will also be aired live for fans who might not make it to the Stadium. It is likely to be the most competitive mashemeji derby in recent memory as both teams are on a good run of from unlike the first leg in February when AFC leopards were in disarray and meekly surrendered to lose 2-0.
Gor Mahia might, however, come into this match already crowned as Champions as they only need a win against Nzoia Sugar on Wednesday to officially retain their title, the third consecutive title!
As it is a routine in most professional leagues, Gor should be accorded a guard of honor by their arch-rivals on Sunday should they beat Nzoia but a section of fans are against the thought of their team bowing to their arch-rivals. Will AFC Leopards have a guard of honor ready? Sunday will have all the answers!
