Speaking at a local vernacular radio station on Tuesday morning, the controversial MP observed that the main reason why the ‘two major communities’ came up together to form Jubilee party was because of the ‘Hague’ factor which was facing the two leaders Uhuru and Ruto at the time. Sudi added that there were no underlying serious factors considered for the union but rather they were hurriedly joined by the current circumstances at that time.

“We never brought into consideration the binding factors but our main goal for that moment was to come together to defeat the Hague factor. All was good but in 2014, I became suspicious of the union basing on some sentiments coming from some individuals in Jubilee. By then we had no reverse gear, we accepted and hoped all will be good.” observed Sudi.

Despite the challenges, Sudi thanked Deputy President William Ruto for always standing strong and supporting President Kenyatta. He also rubbished all corruption claims against Ruto saying that all that was because of political reasons. Sudi observed that in case Ruto will declare that he is not interested anymore in 2022 politics, he will all over a sudden become a ‘saint’.

Sudi likened Ruto’s present attacks to that of former president Moi who was attacked and called names by critics after handing over to Mwai Kibaki in 2022 but later became a saint after his retirement with leaders from all corners of the country tripping to Kabarak to see him.

The Kapseret MP has been on many occasions on the spotlight for his fierce attacks on Kieleweke team which is opposing the Deputy President William Ruto. Recently he had a run-in with the President over claims that the Head of State and Mr. Odinga should also be investigated for corruption.
