How police landed on 3 Ethiopian nationals hiding in a Trailer Cabin

Three Ethiopian nationals aged 20yrs, 32yrs and 35yrs were on Monday night arrested by police officers within Emali Township for being in the country illegally.

The trio were found hiding in a Trailer Cabin headed to Mombasa from Nairobi and were enroute to South Africa. All the three suspects were charged Today (Tuesday).

However, this is not the first case Ethiopian nationals are being arrested for being here illegally.

In March, a Nyeri court allowed police to deport 39 Ethiopians arrested in Kiganjo and Karatina towns and who had illegal travel documents.

In 2014, Police in Embakasi arrested 83 Ethiopian Nationals in Tassia, Nairobi, for illegal stay.

In April this year, 18 Ethiopian nationals and six Eritreans were arrested at Urura village in Merti Sub-county, Isiolo County for allegedly entering the country illegally.
