Third-placed Bandari FC scored thrice against sugar millers of Chemilil who are position 15 in the Kenya Premier League to mount more pressure on second-placed Sofapaka in a match played in Mombasa at Mbaraki Stadium.

The hots, Bandari were forced to make an early substitution for Abdallah Hassan who seemed to have got hamstring strain and Moses Mudavadi ad to come in for his place.

The two teams went for the half time with Bandari leading 2-1 and the two attacking duo of King’atua and Kenga was without a doubt in need for more with several shots being saved by the Chemilil sugar goalkeeper.

The win gives the hosts 55 points just one behind John Baraza’ boys who have 56 points after playing 30 matches two less of Bandari who have now played their 29th match to mean the dockers could come on top of them if they win their remaining matches and the Batoto ba Mungu slips.
