Just Where is President Uhuru Kenyatta? This is the question a number of Kenyans have been asking after the Country’s Commander in Chief went Missing in Action after he returned from his China Trip with Opposition Chief Raila Odinga.
The two attended the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) forum in China where they were also said to be on a mission to source for loans for the expansion of the SGR to Kisumu.
Uhuru has not been seen since then while Raila has made a couple of public appearances.
His Spokesperson, Kanze Dena has now come out to set the record straight on the whereabouts of the head of State.
Kanze has revealed that she is shocked that Kenyans are complaining that they have not seen the President yet he even had a meeting this month.
“I am shocked that people say they haven’t seen the President since he left China, yet on 3rd of this month he had a meeting with executives from Global Fund and there was a Statement about it” She Said.

Kanze Dena, while speaking on Radio Maisha also confirmed that the President is around and that he has an office he goes to everyday.
“The President is around, it doesn’t mean that because he is not seen in public he is not there, he has an office where he goes every day and he is working on several things” Said Kanze.

The President’s absence from the Public Domain even made Kenyans start an online campaign to #FindPresidentUhuru with many apparently surprised with the President’s silence in the last couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, Kenyans will finally get to see Uhuru in action next week as he host’s his Ethiopian counterpart Sahle-Work Zewde at State House.
According to Ethiopian Embassy in Nairobi, president Zewde will be in Kenya on Tuesday for a one day official working visit.
