He was not impatient to react with bemusement to a furious Manchester United fan as he left the pitch after the Red Devils’ lap of dishonour following their defeat to a readily relegated Cardiff.
Pogba shrugged his shoulders and gave the thumbs up to a fan who criticised Pogba’s use of Instagram and repeatedly told him: “You’re f***ing s***.”
In a separate clip, another supporter called on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to get rid of Pogba in the summer with Real Madrid continuing to be linked with a summer swoop for the Frenchman.
Pogba then appeared to point at the supporter as he went down the tunnel.
United’s disastrous end to the season continued as they were beaten on their own patch by the already-relegated Bluebirds. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing struck twice for Cardiff who will be playing in the Championship next season.
The result comes after United failed to beat basement-dwelling Huddersfield last week, and Solskjaer admitted the club has a long way to go to close the gap to title-winning Manchester City and second-placed Liverpool.
“We have a long and hard way to be where we want to be. It will take some time to close in on the top,” he said.
“We finished five or six points behind third, fourth, fifth and that has to be our aim. The top two teams have set a standard higher than before and we have to take up the next challenge.
