Miguna supports the Muhoroni residents protests

Self Proclaimed leader of National Resistance Movement Miguna Miguna has supported the resident of Muhoroni who disrupted ODM leaders speech as they protested of a grabbed land.

While talking to his social media Miguna noted that it was right for the residents to protest for what is rightfully theirs claiming that no one should be allowed to grab public land no matter who they were.

“To the gallant people of KANO, Ombeyi: SOLIDARITY! Protest! Resist! Revolt! Don’t allow anyone to grab your land: whether it is Uhuru Kenyatta, or an amorphous thing called “Government.” Revolt against all acts of impunity!!”

The local resident had further claimed that the government did not consult them about the project. They further claimed their ancestral land was returned to the Kisumu Municipal Council after torrential rains pounded the region, flooding the area for months in the early 80s.

Raila further calmed the residents telling them that they will ensure that the economic zones are benefitting the residents in the area. He further promised to deal with the relevant authorities and get a way forward.

In addition, he noted that the projected to be launched in August by President Kenyatta
