State House spokes person Kanze Dena has finally cleared the airwaves on the claims about the failed Standard Gauge Railway loan deal in China. Speculations have it that president Uhuru Kenyatta and his opposition counterpart Raila Odinga failed to secure a Ksh 368 loan for the extension of SGR railway from Naivasha to Kisumu.
But was this part of president Kenyatta and Raila’s agenda to China? Well, according to Kanze Dena, the issue about the loan deal still remains untrue. She says the President’s agenda did not include the SGR loan.
Speaking during an interview on Radio Maisha’s Bunge la Maisha show on Monday morning, the state house spokes person revealed that the media chose to report on the matter, but they had not given that information.
