Olunga scores as Kashiwa Reysol snap six match winless streak

Harambee Stars forward Michael Olunga bagged the lone goal of the clash as Kashiwa Reysol edged Tokushima in a Japan League 2 match played on Sunday morning at Kashiwa Stadium.

Olunga’s goal came at the 45 minute and his side would hold on to win the clash. The goal means he has scored four goals this season for the Japenese side. It was the first win in six games for the side.

It comes after a goalless draw on Wednesday in a match against Sagan. The win puts them at position five with 22 points after 13 points.  They have won six matches, drawn four and lost three this season.

Olunga joined Kashiwa Reysol on On 10 August 2018. He made his league debut in a 2–0 loss to Júbilo Iwata on 19 August 2018. He scored his first goal for the club in a 5–1 league victory over V-Varen Nagasaki on 25 August.
