Being an international mothers day, it is the saddest day for those with no mothers. It always refreshes sorrow and pain by the mention of the word mother when one remembers that she ha no one to call mother.
It is the case for Crossover 101 host, Grace Ekirapa, who is celebrating mothers day in the absence of her mother. She shared the emotional message of how she only lived with her mom for only eight years after which she rested.
She said; “Motherhood is one of the biggest gifts to humanity. I had the privilege of having 8 years of my life with my Mum after which she rested. Me and my sisters Juliet Ekirapa and Tushlyne had different memories to share and we are beyond grateful to God.
We have let you into our little heaven as we share on our Mother and the gift she was. May this be a blessing to you. Sending love your way. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there.”
This comes after she shared a tear-jerking message to her mother which read; “I’ve always known me to be strong but this time I will just swim in my tears because of the void I feel without you around mama. 18years today and it still feels like yesterday. I refuse to be strong just for today. I miss you soo much.”
Grace never shies from sharing her daddy to day life. She previously talked out about how she had been through a lot of pain in her Instagram account. She said;
“This past week has not been easy. I have been at my lowest but because of Love, I still held on and hoped for a better day. Waking up to Love from #mineand then kids who cheer you up at every gesture is the greatest thing that has happened and I am blessed to have them around me.
I thank God for every message and call that came in this week. Your prayers have gone a mighty long way. I love you all and God bless you for being family. I am stronger.”
A few months ago, she talked about depression and suicide that got a lot of people shocked. She went deep into the causes and gave solutions and from the comment section, a few people left as a different person.
