Arsenal Submit Massive Bid For Real Madrid Superstar…But Will They Pull it Off?

Arsenal are not known for making massive summer transfers from top clubs. But things are looking to change this time around.

Indeed, Arsenal have launched offer to sign 19-year-old wonder kid Marcus Llorente from Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old is keen to leave Real Madrid this summer and is willing to move to the Premier League. According to AS, the Spaniard has already received proposals from Arsenal, while Roma have also expressed an interest.

Zinedine Zidane, who faces a major rebuild at his club this transfer window, will allow Diego Llorente to leave the club.

The midfielder, who joined Los Blancos’ academy at the age of 13, will have two years left on his current deal at the end of the campaign.

Speaking about his future last month, Zidane claimed that Marcos Llorente was not in his plans for next season. ‘I’ve known Marcos for a long time, he is a player that is constantly improving,’ said the Madrid boss.

In fact, these are some of the impressive highlights that Arsenal are set to experience if they manage to sign Llorente.

‘The only thing for him is that he needs to play more because that will help him. ‘I remember when he was at Alaves [on loan], he played regularly and he had a phenomenal season there.’

Unai Emery is losing Aaron Ramsey to Juventus in the summer transfer window which appears to be the first major mistake of Unai Emery as the Wales international has been very prolific for Arsenal this season.

Now the Gunner cannot afford a top-class midfielder, because the club does not intend to spend much in the transfer window. However, it seems that Emery might just be able to afford this signing after offloading some of the deadwood in the club!
