Kenyan songstress Tanasha Donna is having a hard time dealing with social media hate.
She has revealed that she is not a pretender and her choice not to peak much of Swahili has nothing to do with pride.
It seems celebrity status is a lot of pressure to Tanasha since she is a newbie in the industry and the hate and love are overwhelming.
She has been a public figure since she started dating Diamond Platinumz and the reactions from fans are just too much. Perhaps she will get over it.
On Friday, she had an interview with Wasafi FM owned by boyfriend Diamond and she could not talk much Swahili despite the fact that a bigger audience of Tanzanians does not understand English.
Tanzanian audiences were not happy about her show and some blasted her saying since she became a ‘star’ she has changed.
However, she maintained that the main reason why she chose to use two Languages and even English the more because of her global audience.
The interview was streaming online on Youtube and she wanted to help her other fans who cannot speak Swahili to understand.
She had to prove to her fans that for real she has a global audience and she shared a screenshot of a fan saying how she loved the show.
