National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition strategist David Ndii has received a warning from one political analyst and commentator Mutahi Ngunyi for calling him a thief.
Mutayi has threatened to sue him if he repeats the same in future. Ngunyi alleged Ndii had been repeatedly linked him to fraudulent deals which he has little knowledge about.
Through his Twitter handle on Friday, May 10, the political scientist warned he would instigate legal charges against the economist should he continue with his rants.
“This is a brotherly notice to David Ndii. I never stole from NYS. I never stole from Ford. I was sued by Ford for paying John Githongo, Dr Willy Mutunga and Jonathan Moyo. Check the court paper. FORD Withdrew case. Next time Ndii calls me a thief, I will sue him big time,” tweeted Ngunyi.
The two have been at loggerheads for a long time and and have publicly differed on political and economic ideologies. In the 2017 General Election in which Ndii’s NASA coalition lost to Jubilee, Ngunyi came public and laid the blame on his antagonist accusing him of misleading the party.
The NASA strategist has also been on record claiming the political analyst does not match his intellectual capacity. Speaking to KTN News on December 26, 2017, Ndii who was reacting to Ngunyi’s allegation that he was not consistent in his economic analysis, said the political scientist was not intellectually qualified to rate him.
“I have been consistent and I have never shifted my stand on this of issue of being a leftist or rightist. I don’t think Mutahi Nyunyi is intellectually qualified to label me,” he said.
