Kenyan Bouncer Kills Party-goer as Wife Watches

Police have arrested a club bouncer after he pushed a reveler down the stairs to his death.

Details emerged that Mr Abraham Kibet had arrived at a popular Eldoret club where he was a regular patron.

A short argument would later ensue between Kibet, who had been accompanied by his wife, and the club bouncer.

Moments later, the burly bouncer pushed Kibet down a flight of stairs at the club.

Hurtling down towards the ground floor, Kibet, according to doctors, suffered multiple concussions as he landed on the stairs with his head.

The wife who watched as the incident happened would later rush a frail Kibet to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where he was immediately wheeled into a theatre room.

Sensing that the damage was more than anticipated, the medics at the facility quickly booked Kibet into a High Dependency Unit, where he would succumb to his injuries Thursday.

“He was wheeled to the theatre where a brain surgery was conducted before he was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Sunday morning, unfortunately, we lost him on Thursday at around 11 am,” said Wilson Aruasa-MTRH CEO.

Police quickly arrested the club bouncer, and arraigned him in court Monday where the court allowed police more time to conclude investigations.

The Club’s manager Jonathan Munyaka said the incident indeed happened at their facility and that police were following up on the matter.

“It is true that the incident happened at our club and we are working with the authorities to unravel the truth. The victim is a common reveller at our club and we have nothing to hide,” said Munyaka.
