DCI Goes For Eldoret killer Moments After Surrender

Detectives drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have launched probe into the murder of a 29-year-old woman on her way fro Kipkaren centre in Eldoret

The two had come from Kipkaren centre and were walking along the path when attacker- Mr Jacob Kwalat drew his panga and hacked the woman killing her instantly.

Detectives at the DCI headquarters have reported that the Kwalat has surrendered himself to an Eldoret police station awaiting investigations.

The incident comes hot on the heels of a Kitui incident where a 19-year-old man slashed his wife with a panga and left her dead.

The man would knock on the door of his mother, asking her to arrest him and take him to the police station.

The murder cases in Kenya have become widespread with Opposition Leader’s wife Ida Odinga calling for an end to women killings.
