MPs that will be accompanying Ruto for a mega prayer rally in Murang’a

More than 100 legislators have signed up to attend an inter-denominational prayer rally in Murang’a on Saturday.

During the rally, deputy President William Ruto will be the chief guest. By Wednesday evening, 132 MPs, who are supporting Ruto’s 2022 State House bid had already put down their signatures.

They are said to have confirmed their attendance at the meeting to be held at Kimorori Trading Centre in Kenol, Murang’a county. Members of the County Assembly have also been invited.

MPs expected to attend include Aden Duale (Garrisa), David Gikaria (Nakuru East), Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango) and Sylvanus Osoro (South Mugirango).

Others include Mululu Ijendi (Malava), Emanuel Wangwe (Navakholo), Sabina Chege (Muranga), Senator Mithika Linturi (Meru), Janet Nangambo (Trans Nzoia), Cate Waruguru (Laikipia) and Richard Tong’i (Nyaribari Chache).
