The two have had differing paths onto the global masterpiece.

Wanyama attended Kamukunji High School, then also played with JMJ Academy for three years during which time he also joined Kenyan Premier League clubs Nairobi City Stars and AFC Leopards.

In 2007, he joined Allsvenskan club Helsingborg but after the departure of his brother McDonald Mariga to Serie A side Parma in 2008, Wanyama returned to Kenya.

He then joined Beerschot AC in 2008  and later on went to join Celtic in 2011.

In 2013, he moved to Southampton. His big break happened when Tottenham came calling in 2016 and he has been a regular fixture there ever since.

Meanwhile, Divock was born in Belgium. His father is former Kenyan international, Mike Okoth.

On Tuesday, his two-goal masterclass against Barcelona helped book his team into the Champions League final.
