Uhuru affirms dynasties’ place in Kenya following the recent appointments

President Uhuru Kenyatta has affirmed the Odinga, Kenyatta and Moi dynasties place in Kenya after he appointed his brother-in-law Victor Pratt and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi’s wife Zahra Bahlewa to chair Retirement Benefits Authority and sit as member at Tourism Research Institute respectively.

Victor is married to Kristina Wambui Kenyatta who is Uhuru’s elder sister.

Uhuru also showed Kenyans the middle finger after he appointed several 2017 General Election losers, close allies together with relatives of key political figures to State jobs.

In a gazette notice on Friday, May 3, the Head of State also appointed former MPs Jamleck Kamau (Tana River Development Authority), Dennis Waweru (Kenya Investment Authority) and Jebii Kilimo (Street Families Rehabilitation Trust Fund).

Also in the list were former Kitui governor Julius Malombe who was made head of the Kenya Water Towers Agency as well as 2017 Siaya gubernatorial aspirant Nicholas Gumbo who was appointed as Kenyatta National Hospital board chairman.

At least 15 Foreign Affairs serving officers were also promoted to the ambassadorial positions.

Uhuru’s recycling of political rejects is not only bad news to many jobless youths, but also a slap on the face of all those who voted for Uhuru’s corrupt regime in the promise of youth empowerment.
