However, fear and anxiety has gripped Ajax supporters and have disrupted Tottenham’s preparations at Amsterdam.
Ajax ultras have set off fireworks during the early hours of this morning directly outside the hotel which Tottenham Hotspur have stayed at prior to this evening’s match.
The supporters of the Dutch side recorded footage of the firework show which caused an almighty noise. They have a track record of this kind of tactic to visiting sides in European competition, so it wouldn’t have come as a complete surprise to Tottenham officials.
Poch has to work hard to turn the celebration to their sides. They need to beat Ajax at least 2-0 to edge them out the competition.
