As the Kiambu County budget saga continues, Jubilee Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has revealed rather shocking details of Kiambu Governor Ferdinard Waititu.
While speaking during a Morning TV Show, Mwaura revealed how Waititu had planned to steal public funds right from the day he set foot in parliament.
“I remember one time at the parliament gym when he told me point blank, Mwaura when we get into parliament we must steal because Raila stole Kazi Kwa Vijana money which is said to have been Ksh 3.4billion.” Said Mwaura
He further added saying that the money set aside by the government for roads have been misappropriated and people have been making budgets so they get enough to steal.
Mwaura who is a former Member of parliament remarks followed days after Waititu was exposed following the release of the Kiambu County budget which left the whole country in shock which saw the money mentioned allocated to activities that did not much that of the County.
However the controversial governor denied that he knew anything about the budget saying that it was as a result of the previous county government by William Kabogo.
