Jumwa worsened her enmity with ODM on Friday, after she blocked the party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna from speaking during a funeral service in Jilore, Malindi on Friday.
Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has warned Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa against making disrespectful remarks against Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
Speaking on Monday, Wanga cautioned Jumwa of tough days ahead if she continues expressing disrespect for the party.
Speaking during the opening of the Magunga Market Sheds in Gwassi, Homa Bay County, Wanga noted that Jumwa will have to respect the party or face the consequences.
“Lazima uheshimu chama cha ODM na utakiheshimu, na sisi tutapambana na wewe (You (Jumwa) must and will respect ODM, we are ready to deal with you),” she said.
She faulted Jumwa for being too noisy and bashing a party that took her to parliament, daring her to disown ODM and resign to give room for fresh polls.
According to Wanga, Jumwa should completely cross over to the Ruto team that she has been seen walking with, a team that has since been nicknamed team ‘tanga tanga’.
“Kama kweli wewe ni mama ngangari na umechoka na ODM toka tuende by-election urudi na tanga tanga ,” she said.
Jumwa who was elected on ODM ticket has been vocal against the party following her recent expulsion, which the party based on her links with Deputy President William Ruto.
