Mwihoko’s finest comedian Henry Desagu is one of the funniest online comedians in Kenya.
His real name is Ithagu Kibicho and he started off comedy in 2016 at the campus.
He started off with a group of friends and after finishing school, he opted for online vlogging after group projects failed.
His popular slogans of ‘Team Mafisi’ propelled his online career to a household name.
His skits from Mwihoko in Githurai paved way to a bigger audience, thanks to social media.
In a previous interview, he confirmed that comedy pays and has so far earned well from endorsements.
His first huge pay was when he was approached by Motorhub to be their ambassador.
Desagu has grown his Youtube and his skits have attracted more than 140,000 subscribers.
On 7th of May 2019, he was awarded by Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) for being able to produce clean content.
KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua acknowledged his talent and urged youths to produce content that can be consumed by everyone.
Desagu also received silver award from Youtube for garnering more than a hundred thousand subscribers.
