Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Brighton was the last time Arsenal fans will see Aaron Ramsey at the Emirates Stadium as a Gunner. The central midfielder will be joining Juventus at the end of the season after his contract with the club ends in June. Aaron Ramsey joined the club as a teenager back in 2008 and will leave as the club’s highest scoring central midfielder ever!

He achieved this despite suffering a career-threatening injury after a rash challenge by Stoke City’s Ryan Shawcross left his foot broken almost into two pieces back in 2009.

The midfielder recovered and was sent on loan to his homeland to play for Cardiff in a bid to speed up his recovery. He made his Arsenal comeback and was part of the team that was on the verge of winning the league but fadedtowards the en of the season in 2011.With Ramsey, Samir Nasri, Cesc Fabregas and Jack Wilshere, Arsenal had some of the best talents in World Football but Arsene Wenger could not win a single trophy with them.

Most of them left starting with Fabregas who was their leader together with Samir Nasri in the summer of 2011. Robin Van Persie followed soon after and Jack Wilshere’s injuries meant that Aaron Ramsey was the only one who remained and could be counted on to deliver on the pitch. And he delivered with aplomb!
