A 19-year old girl has stabbed her boyfriend (same age) to death in Bomet county after quarreling over the man’s cash.
Bomet Central Police boss Geoffrey Walumbe said the two lovers quarreled before the woman, 19, picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the man.
Neighbours added that the two fought over some money the man had allegedly earned from his manual labour work.
The deceased succumbed while being rushed to Longisa County Referral Hospital.
The suspect has since surrendered herself to the police and the murder weapon has also been retrieved.
