The China loan dominated the reactions to the arrest of activist Boniface Mwangi. Mwangi was arrested on Monday morning and charged with trying to organise a revolution which might cause public unrest and breach of peace.

And now Kenyans believe that this was President Uhuru Kenyatta venting after being denied the multi-billion SGR loan by China.

Some Kenyans have however questioned why the police would arrest the activist because he is suddenly not a threat and has zero mobilization skills. He should be the least of their problems.

Do you think Mwangi stage managed his arrest? If yes, then you are not alone. Several Kenyans have questioned the drama in which he was arrested and concluded that this is a nice scripted play.

A person who is considered a threat to the government cannot be arrested and released after two hours. People like Bobi Wine and Miguna Miguna can have something to tell you about this.

But guys, what if it is true. What if this is President Kenyatta trying to sent a message to Kenyans that demonstrations will not be allowed in Kenya. That no one can threaten the Jubilee government.

Instead of trying to create humor out of the whole melee, Kenyans should be very afraid. Boniface Mwangi is a public figure. If the police can arrest him, what will happen to you, a common Mwananchi?

It should be remembered that there is no crime called a revolution, not in the Kenyan constitution. Mwangi’s arrest is illegal and must be condemned with the strongest terms possible.

In Sudan, the ouster of dictator Omar Al Bashir started after he increased the price of bread. Kenyans are committing suicide because of the rise of cost of living. This can trigger are very big revolutions.

The big question is a you tired?
