Kabogo’s tough question that Waititu has failed to answer

Former Kiambu County Governor Hon William Kabogo has been fighting back since the exposure of the bizarre budget.

Hon Kabogo’s major worry being the Ksh 2 billion in question, he wants Waititu to tell the people what he spent the money on.

Kabogo argues that money in the County is only allocated to devolved units. Last week when Governor Waititu appeared before the senate committee, it emerged that his government had allocated funds to non-devolved units.

Governor Waititu’s government had allocated funds to coordination of state house functions, compensation of retired presidents as well as money to South Sudan in a peace negotiation deal!

However, Waititu denied the bizarre budget, which has made Kabogo pose a tough question against him.

Kabogo wants Waititu to explain what he spent the money on if he argues that Kiambu County never allocated the funds in the bizarre budget.

“One can only allocate money for devolved functions I am not worried about money being given to S.Sudan…my question is what Waititu spent money on,” Kabogo questioned while appearing in a televised interview on Monday morning.

He has also called for a quick 14 day audit by a private firm, which he says the whole world will be shocked after the audit.
