Activist Boniface Mwangi who earlier on trended largely following his arrest after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations stormed his home and skimmed him away has finally clarified the reason after his release.
Boni has revealed that the detectives knew he was home because his phone was on and they could track his movements.
Upon arrival at Central Police Station, he was told: “some people” are planning a revolution and questioned if he might have some information.
Boni has since maintained he knows nothing.
“I have understood the statement raised by the inquiry but I have nothing to say. That is all I wish to state for now,” the activist wrote in his statement that was circulated on social media.
Kenyans who agree that the country needs a revolution have expressed their total support for the action.
