1. List your wants in order of needs

List down the things you really want according to how important they are, for by doing so you get to know what you should shop for now and what can wait till later.

2. Thrift shop

With places like the K1 Flea Market that happens on Sundays at the K1 Klub House or Thrift Social which happens every other month your bound to get some cool and unique pieces for the house or even for you to rock for less than even Kshs 500.

3. Pop up sales

Some stores gather in a huge open market to sell their items. They are largely in competition with other stores so, the best way for them to attract costumers is to reduce their prices. So it’s advisable to subscribe to a newsletter for your favourite stores so you can beware of the offers they have coming up.

4. Giveaways on Instagram:

This happens mostly when stores get in the celebration mood like clocking a year or introducing new items. So they organize a giveaway for their customers and might even include discounted delivery too. So follow them on Instagram too.

5. Look out for clearance sales:

All stores do clearance sales!  At this time, prices of items would have reduced drastically and it gives you the freedom to cut cost and still spend on a budget! Isn’t that a great idea?
