Politics in sacred places like Churches and Funerals should be a long gone story but that is where politicians pump in their agenda.

The is no normalcy in Churches anymore and when a politician is present, the congregants double like Jesus is performing miracles.

What a shame?

On Friday, the iron lady herself Aisha Jumwa did justice to mourners after silencing ODM’s secretary General Edwin Sifuna.

The people of Malindi were mourning the Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi’s late dad.

Edwin Sifuna was given a chance to condole with the family but he went extra and started politics.

Aisha Jumwa being a ‘man’ she always is, snatched the microphone from him saying that the SG should respect mourners.

Aisha a few months ago was yanked from ODM for association with DP Ruto and the Tangatanga batallion.

Netizens have praised her for bringing sanity in a funeral.

The same maturity in such events was seen in Former president’s Moi backyard during the burial of Jonathan Moi.

But did Aisha display a good gesture by snatching the microphone from Sifuna?

Should this nonsense stop already? The churches too are the next thing that religious leaders should focus on and stop receiving dirty money.
