UON Comrades take on Mvurya. ‘Stop slaying’ and work

The chair of the University of Nairobi Student Association (UNSA) Miss Mvurya is under immense pressure to bow on crazy demands by the students.

The law student and a daughter to Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya is accused of conducting a series of meetings with politicians since her election into the helm of the powerful students union.

The angered students instead want the UNSA boss to focus on serving them and redeeming the lives of comrades that have been burdened by debts.

“Instead of Ann Mvurya meeting useless politicians,,why can’t she organize a meeting with the CEO of CRB and see how comrades’ names can be delisted from their records.” stated a post on Facebook.

“Its a fact that 90% of culprits listed in CRB are university students, most of whom were forwarded by TALA, BRANCH, MSHWARI, OKASH etc.. It doesn’t feel right if a comrade graduates and before even getting his first job, his credit worthiness is already down and irredeemable,” continued the post.

However, others were opposed to the idea claiming that borrowing is an individual decision and personal obligations.

Credit Reference Bureau was established to control public reckless borrowing hence, can not waiver the debts.

Do you think the union chair can intervene on the students CRB plea?
