After the Thika Road menace Kenyan Paralympics team took the fight to Amina’s backyard

After causing a commotion at the Thika Road Highway on Thursday, Kenyan Paralympics team took to Kencom where Aminas office lies with hopes of that she would be their guardian angel despite being assaulted earlier on by the police.

It was a really sad sight when the Kenya National Paralympics Team held a protest along Thika Road over the government’s failure to remit their dues only to be assaulted by police officers present at the scene as if the disabled had no rights.

The group blocked off a section of the highway near Safari Park and vowed not to leave until their grievances were addressed by the government and the Sports Ministry in particular.

In return they were assaulted by the same people who were supposed to protect them in this case the police which saw one officer pull out a gun on the group of less physically able athletes who brought back 46 medals for Kenya in their outstanding performance.
