The death of media mogul Reginald Mengi has taken a different twist after decry from his family.
Mengi was on Thursday reported having died in Dubai of an illness not released to the public.
Activist and socialite Mange Kimambi, on her Instagram post, has alleged that she is acting on Mengi’s family approval to address his death.
Mengi left behind a wife, Jacqueline Ntuyabaliwe, who doubles up as former miss Tanzania 2000 and also an artist.
The two got married in 2015 and have twins.
According to Mange Kimambi who confirmed to be acting on the family’s tip-off, Jacqueline and Mengi went to Zanzibar during Easter holiday but she told her husband that the children did not enjoy and they need to go to Dubai.
Last week, they took off to Dubai and the family spokesman revealed that Jacqueline never goes on a vacation without taking two house helps but this time around she failed.
Kimambi continue to reveal that a few days ago, Jacqueline’s sister called the family of Mengi saying that Mengi had been taken to the hospital and that they needed money as a guarantee in the hospital.
She also revealed that after the money was sent to Dubai, she lied that the husband was okay and yet he was in ICU.
Mengi’s siblings had to go to Dubai to check on him after Jacqueline had switched off her phone but luckily they had the name of the hospital.
They found the hospital and the patient was in ICU, they panicked when they were told that Mengi will not survive.
To their astonishment, Jacqueline did not appear in that hospital until late in the evening.
After a long post on Instagram, Mange Kimambi said that the family believes that Jacqueline had a hand in the death of her husband so that she could inherit his wealth which was written as 50 percent of all assets.
She also pointed out that Jacqueline has an affair with a man named Hussein who she was with in Dubai when her husband was recuperating at the hospital.
