Police service new dawn with 5Y-DIG Airborne for security surveillance

A new dawn has not only been witnessed at the National Police service by the change of leadership but in the methods of fighting which involves international partnership as well as equipment.

In an interview new police boss Hillary Mutyambai recently revealed that they are doing well in handling complex crimes, particularly from the DCI’s side.

“We are increasing CCTV surveillance and the relevant training and expertise to deal with money train investigations.

And this is what I want to put a lot of resources into and borrow best practices from within and outside the country,”he told a local daily

He has in a video spoken at the NPS Wing of the importance the police service places on the helicopters after the unveiling of 5Y DIG airborne to be used for surveillance duties.

He has revealed the helicopters are used in border operations, cattle rustling.
