Money is not the root of all evil but what is, is you making money your God and that is essentially what is meant by that verse. Money is the root of all good when in the right hands.

2. If you are born poor you’ll remain poor

Some people believe that poverty can be part of a person’s destiny, but people like Kennedy Odede diminish that mentality. Kennedy went from being a chokora to a CEO proving that clearly being born into poverty is due to circumstance and remaining poor is a state of mind. You can be born poor, but you don’t have to stay that way.

3. You have to do dodgy deals to be rich

There’s a widespread belief in Kenya and even perhaps in Africa too, that nobody can get rich without stealing public funds, doing drugs or worse yet participating in a juju practice of some kind. Yes, some people do become rich in this manner but the consequences are not worth it and being rich the legal way is equally as attainable.

4. Every rich woman slept with a man to get money

This is also a widely held belief, where it is assumed that successful women sleep their way to the top. If you’re a woman thinking you have to give up the goods to get the success you want kindly drop this notion, your success story should never be a result of a #MeToo situation.

5. It’s too late for you to make money

It’s never too late for you to turn your financial fortune around. Even if you’re broke and suffering under a mountain of debt, you can do better by making better decisions and sticking to them.
