According to police figures in the last year, 70 people have committed suicide in Central Kenya all most all of them being men.

The sensitivity of the matter drove the BBC journalists in the affected regions to dig into the chaos that is resulting in this tragedies and tell the story of the depressed men.

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has expressed his gratitude to Media personality Caroline Mutoko and Peter Murimi for sharing the story on Kikuyu’s committing suicide.

He has further revealed that Kikuyu’s are the poorest people in Kenya quoting JM Kariuki’s statement that the House of GEMA is a house of 10 MILLIONAIRES being served by 10 MILLION BEGGARS.

In a case story, one of the men is believed to have committed suicide as a result of being HIV positive and an alcoholic thus sank into depression and got worse as a result of further being unemployed hence felt worthless.

A village meeting in the village organized by Chief Joseph in the clip reveals issues such as men having nowhere to go when they have issues, some of their women being dictators.

Poverty and pride, debt and depression all across Nyandarua, men are suffering in silence.
