Buzeki distances self from Kieleweke says he is fully behind Ruto

Business mogul and Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Zedekiah Kiprop Bundotich popularly known as Buzeki has distanced himself from claims of associating with Jubilee rebels who are opposed to DP William Ruto’s bid.

This is after photos emerged on social media showing Buzeki in the company of Moiben MP Silas Tiren, Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny and former Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto. The trio are fierce critics of William Ruto.

The photos which are believed to have been taken after Labor Day celebrations has elicited mixed reactions with some questioning whether Buzeki had joined hands with Team Kieleweke and those opposed to DP’s ambitions.

However Buzeki told Daily Star he attended the celebrations as an employer with Buzeki group of companies which employs thousands of Kenyans. He also reiterated his unwavering support for DP William Ruto.

“My support for William Ruto is not debatable. It’s on record that I support him 100 per cent since he carries the dreams and aspirations of many Kenyans and I will support him kwa hali na mali”. He said.

“It’s normal for leaders from all walks of life to meet and discuss but that doesn’t mean our ideas are in convergence. My supporters should rest easy. Am fully behind DP”. He added.

The poorly attended Labor Day celebrations which were boycotted by President Uhuru Kenyatta, DP William Rut, and Jubilee top leadership was presided by Cotu SG Francis Atwoli and NASA leadership a move that has made many commentators label it a NASA rally.
