COTU Boss Francis Atwoli seems to be a loved man who bringing down will actually be a toll order to all his enemies.
Atwoli has in the past few weeks been at the center of a number of attacks from politicians allied to DP William Ruto.
From Oscar Sudi all the way to Aisha Jumwa, Atwoli has seen and heard it all. It is however Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa’s attacks on Atwoli that seem to have caught his attention and that of Likoni MP Mishi Mboko.
According to Aisha Jumwa, Atwoli is a worthless man who will only prove that he is truly a real man if he goes to the ballot against William Ruto for the Presidency.
It is her remarks on Atwoli, whom she has in the past called a “Kijana Mfupi Round” that angered Likoni MP Mishi Mboko who took her head on during the Labour Day Celebrations.
Mboko blasted Jumwa for openly disrespecting someone as old as Atwoli, someone old enough to be her father.
According to Mboko, Aisha Jumwa is a role model to many girls and as such, her public attacks on Atwoli are unwarranted.
“I was embarrassed to see a woman who is an elected leader (Jumwa) insult Atwoli who is respected not only in Kenya but also world over. Shame on you. Atwoli is our elder, he is someone’s husband and father. We must be role models to our girls and young women who want to be leaders,” urged the legislator.
Atwoli downplayed Aisha Jumwa’s remarks on him saying that she is not her type to start with.
